Works of Other Authors
YOGAFor the spiritual aspirant, SABDA’s Yoga section comprises a wide selection of books on the study and practice of the Integral Yoga of Sri Aurobindo and the Mother. A large number of such titles are by M. P. Pandit and address various aspects of the Integral Yoga such as the theory and practice of spiritual life, karma yoga, bhakti yoga, and jnana yoga.
This section offers more than prescriptive works, however. A number of books, such as Rishabhchand’s In The Mother’s Light, approach the Integral Yoga through a study of the Mother’s Prayers and Meditations; one title, by Nolini Kanta Gupta, contains original essays on Sri Aurobindo’s yoga; and another looks at Sri Aurobindo’s early diary entries on his own yoga practice and correlates them to his later works.
Visitors to the site who are interested in the yoga of Sri Aurobindo and the Mother are invited to browse the titles in this section and click on those that interest them. They are taken to a page devoted to the book, complete with details about it, an ‘About’ section describing the book, and sometimes a book review in a ‘Review’ section.
